I wouldn't usually send on Sunday but...
And not for drinks
Kia ora e hoa,
Between following up with our amazing gifters who haven’t yet marked their koha as Dropped Off* and trying to find back-up gifts (Thanks Julie and Clever Poppy for helping with this), I’ve been trying to help as much as possible with the huge number of parents reaching out directly for help.
These are direct community requests, often after being referred to us by their local social service, if they’re unable to help. This isn’t our usual process for Shoebox Christmas - if you want to know more about why/how we’re doing this, you can see it here:
We have about 60 more whānau who have asked for help. and haven’t been matched.
Posting gifts for these families needs to happen by 16/12 if we want to help make Christmas the kind of day every child deserves. (Hence the bad practice of sending an important email on a December Sunday).
If you can post a koha to one of these whānau early next week, please click the button here and I’ll send the details through to your email tonight/tomorrow morning.
Either way, enjoy your Sunday! It’s a beautiful day out there.
Pera
*subtly placed reminder that if you’re taking part in the regular Shoebox Christmas kaupapa and haven’t marked yours as delivered yet please do so!
